Old Abandoned Mines and Ghost Towns
Wyoming mines and ghost towns seem to go hand in hand at several different locations all over the state. There have been several minerals, gold and ores dug out of this state, but it seems like most were just boom and then went bust. The prime resources the state is offering up now are black gold (petroleum) coalmines, potash and several others. Some of the towns actually took hold and lasted but that was normally because of ranching or the need for lumber.
